Here are my favorite apps I used almost everyday :
1. Browser
Firefox is the best ever.. LOL.. of course it is in my very opinion..
As mentioned in the book of firefox (type about:mozilla in the address bar) :

Um.. interesting right? hehe… even there is a bible look a like there.
And another alternative browser is Internet explorer, it is only because the kookmin bank application and gmarket require IE to runs well. The other browser following is safari, as it is the default browser in mac OS X 
, even though I used it very rarely.
2. Chat Application
The main now is Meebo. I got back to it because Meebo now is different with the new available status that is customizable. Previous version is bad, because every time I updated the custom status, then my status was set into busy or away.. -_-’ But it is better now, although there is no busy status yet.
The secondary is Yahoo messenger and Live messenger. Yahoo is used if the partner we are talking to really insist me to use some features not provided in meebo *actually they can send the file just via email* . And the Live messenger is online because my professor uses MSN service.. 
I once tried Gaim as the client, although not for long time untill I return back to meebo. The best part of meebo is it provides an online chat log. You can see what are the last words written.. so you can catch up right away.
3. ssh client
I used putty, always.. and may will always be..
4. File transfer client
There is winscp I used to use to connect to SFTP servers. It provide a basic internal editor too, so I don’t have to download the file to local folder just to know what’s with in and edit a little. The other file transfer client is Filezilla. I’ve just used it recently, as I needed to connect well with the standard FTP server. I don’t know precisely why winscp can’t connect to those kinds of servers. I wonder.
5. Editor
My favorite editor is scite. A very basic editor. Has no integrated compiler *that’s why I like it*. It provides a very high portability and flexibility as I can have syntax highliting as basic feature. Just simple editor, all I can say.
I once very addicted to editplus, I used the evaluation version of it. It has a simple integration with the java compiler, so with Ctrl+1 you can compile the files and Ctrl+2 you can run it *it is custom configuration*. But, when I worked on dahlia project, Hasrul offer me this editor. I knew this editor previously, but it was *far* too simple for me at that time, so I didn’t used it. But Hasrul forced me to use that because he used that one too. So I started to get used to it, and finally I like it’s simplicity.. *again.. simple*
I left editplus, I left notepad++, I left notepad *of course LOL*
The other editor as my favorite is eclipse. It is my default IDE for my projects. It provides a very comprehensive environment for building a project. It has something similar features as netbeans, just that some people said eclipse runs faster because it uses AWT package. And I think eclipse can run faster and on lower spec platform.
And the interesting part of eclipse is, the eclipse form a more grounding runtime environment in java. Means that, if I run the program, then the virtual machine will actually running the classes in the binary folder. Different with the netbeans, when I run the program, It makes a jar file, and then from that isolated binary file the program is run. Resulting a different result when there is realtime compilation and class realoding. I sensed it on my early stage of work in my old office. My program ran well on eclipse, but run not precisely on netbeans. So from then, I used eclipse almost all the time, as I didn’t really need a complex GUI interface.
6. Office application
I use microsoft office 2003 in my lab computer.
I use neooffice in my laptop.
No explanation required.. 
7. Multimedia apps
I use k-lite mega codec pack, and media player classic as player in my lab. I don’t know, I just feel comfortable of its simple color and shape, but powerful.
In my laptop, I use VLC as my main player.
8. Google apps
Many of google apps is available. The most ones are Gmail and GoogleReader. Gmail is very good on its simplicity and its clever idea to populate messages into one thread for the same topic. Limited to 100 message for each thread. A very helpful feature. It provide chat apps too, and recently, we can have video call there too.
Reader in google is a nice apps too.. we can subscribe to many blog or website and kept up to date with the changes in the world. I knew this apps from Dewi.
Google maps, yes.. a very well know application for its powerfulness. Even a person can be seen there. What a terrifying apps.
9. Other apps
Um.. I use Xming as my X client.
I use adobe reader as pdf reader.. and sometimes preview application in mac.
I use Logmein as my remote desktop application.
I use XAMPP as my development server and FTP server in my lab computer.
I use gedit to edit the file in linux servers.
I love java.

A very inspiring lecture. I noticed that some of my childhood dreams either became reality. And seeing his dreams passed by on the presentation, gave me the right reason too to make my life span flashing again into my memory. Remembering how far I have gone from the starting point. Knowing the time left for him to live, made him wants to enjoy even more every moment of his life. Me either, how long will I live on? 40 years to go? 20 years to go? or may be shorter? Honestly, it is not a very long time to be. -_-
What is my dream? at least for this moment? it is a self directed question.. I will answer it, soon.
That is his last lecture. Prof. Randy Pausch, rest in peace. Thank you professor for the life lesson you gave us.

Okay.. finally.. i bought a new watch… a brand new watch.. and in this post I wanna show it off.. lol..
It is casio branded. Made of stainless steel and has metal strap. Researching for about two days.. I finally decided to choose this one.

It has temperature measurer a.k.a thermometer . And actually.. it’s measurement not quite right 
, because it is affected by the body temperature that is attached to the watch. Then, to give a better result, put it off and place it under non windy place, and wait for about half an hour *LOL* and.. tada.. it is great. Actually, I never try this at all.. kkk..
Using this watch, I will be a person that has a good consideration of time *at least seems like that* . And it makes me cooler than ever..
Okay.. here is the shot of my watch provided by Hadi *my boss* . And it is flipped over.. he put it wrong way.. -_-’

Besides new home at apartement, I got my domain finally..
I bought it through reseller.. however, actually you can buy it directly through pandi.or.id . But I tried to log on to that, didn’t successful.. T_T
I’m hosting by the kindness of my dearest friend, hasrul. He lends me a space and server to put my website. Currently, I’m only containing the havban.wordpress.com to the frame in havban.web.id . On further works, there will be real application installed there, but.. may be later as I said.. *ow..I am busy nowadays..:P*
It is quite easy to embed the website, a very basic code of HTML code. But the client browser is required to be able to render frameset, IE 4 or Netscape 5 above should be sufficient. And it is a good way of facading.. the real address is not directly written in the address bar, you should select to show only the frame *in firefox* so that the real address is seen.

I just remember, the tag “frame” uses no closing tag, just one tag is enough with the attribute of source (src) it is just like one other tag “img” that requires no closing tag.
About today too, It was very cold.. I was not prepared, wearing only sport jacket, and it freezed my face and palm.. blue as a death body.. LOL . I felt some kind of fever *again* but it is better now. I hope I could finish the vdees project, it makes me dizzy for quite time every day.. T_T
Today is also my second chance of teaching english class.. Ew.. there are different material for each student.. I got dizzy more.. @_@ .. and the little guy.. they fought each other.. and the girl.. their are naugthy.. kkk.. And the interesting part is, I learnt there are two ways to say “c” and “g” letter. First is soft , c is pronounced using “s” and g is pronounced using “j”, for example “city”, “cent”, “gym”, “giraffe”. The second way is hard, c is pronounced using “k” and “g” pronounced using “g”, for example “car”, “corn”, “girl”, “gold”. Interesting really.. ^^
Past midnight here already.. um.. may be I will continue to work on my report for tomorrow seminar, or may be just go to sleep.. -_- ..

Pernah gak ngebayangin kalo manusia bisa telepati? Gimana rasanya.. mudahnya.. rumitnya.. atau bahkan lucunya.. )
Kalo orang bisa telepati, perlu gak bahasa pengantar? Apakah telapati itu bisa melewati batasan bahasa yg digunakan, karena dapat menghantarkan maksud dari sumber. Ataukah masih perlu berbahasa? karena sebenarnya yg dihantarkan dalam telepati adalah ucapan atau sinyal2 bahasa yg kita gunakan sehari2? hm…
Kalau yg kedua .. telepati sebagai pengganti berbicara, maka keuntungan yg didapat adalah hemat energi *gak perlu capet gerakin lidah*, mengurangi polusi suara *tapi mungkin polusi sinyal lebih banyak *, dapat lebih cepat menghantarkan pesan *gak perlu mencet tombol telepon buat ngomong ama dia.. or kirim sms*, mempermudah komunikasi hampir tanpa batasan waktu dan tempat *tentunya dengan ketersediaan jaringan*, dan mungkin keuntungan2 lainnya.. ibaratnya bayangin aja kalo handphone ditempel diotak, dan kita bisa langsung ngomong lewat hp tanpa suara.
Teknologi seperti ini sudah ada yg mencontohkan di film Ghost In The Shell (GITS). Orang2 di zaman itu sudah ditanam dengan cyber brain yang sudah berisi pemancar dan penerima gelombang radio. Jadi kita bisa ngobrol gitu tanpa gerakin lidah, bedanya adalah kita jadi orang oon yg bengong waktu ngomong ama orang di seberang sana.. hihi..
Kalo yg pertama tadi.. mengantarkan knowledge.. rumit kelihatannya. Hal ini berkaitan erat dengan “Knowledge Externalization”. Hingga saat ini, soal knowledge alias pemahaman tentang sesuatu tidak terjadi dengan seketika, tapi harus mengalami tahapan2 tertentu di otak. Mulai dari perception, learning, communication, association and reasoning. Eitts.. jangan tanya gua arti dari itu semua.. kkk.. gua cuman copy paste dari wikipedia. Kira2 intinya mulai dari sadar akan keberadaan knowledge (dari keingintahuan atau keterpaksaan), mempelajari, berkomunikasi dengan sumber knowledge (entah buku atau orang atau mahluk lain), mengaitkan dengan knowledge yg telah kita miliki sebelumnya, dan yg paling tinggi adalah mampu mengambil kesimpulan. Kesimpulan di sini tidak bisa dibilang benar dan salah secara hitam putih, tapi lebih ke arah subyektifitas dari si pembuat kesimpulan, yang tentunya berdasar atas jumlah dan seperti apa informasi yg telah diterimanya.
Okeh.. cukup rumit kan untuk bisa memiliki knowledge terhadap sesuatu? Jadi inget film romantis, Tokyo Love Story *kimochii.. ^^* . Dulu waktu kecil nonton pelem itu gua keseeeel banget ama si Satomi yg akhirnya mendapatkan Kanji. Gua keseeel banget jadi pengen gimana gitu.. hehe.. Tapi sekarang, gua memahami.. kalau mereka berdua memang saling mencintai, tapi tidak ditakdirkan untuk menikah. Si Kanji hampir jadi milik Rika, tapi Satomi gak berhenti berjuang menahan kepergian di saat terakhir2.. sedangkan si Kanji masih dalam kalut untuk menentukan sikap. Akhirnya Kanji memilih Satomi. aaaah… kesel.. hehe.. itu dulu.. tapi sekarang gua paham. Dan gua malah semakin menghargai hubungan mereka berdua. Hubungan yang tulus, terutama cinta dari si Rika yang benar2 mampu berkorban dan memberikan apa yg ia mampu untuk orang yang ia sayangi. Sikap si Kanji yang setia dan tidak mudah pudar untuk bisa menyayangi Satomi.. huhu.. Seandainya mereka berdua bertemu lebih dahulu.. kkk.. jadi curcol gak jelaz..
Ok.. back to the main topic. Kayak gitulah yg gua alami, perasaan gua mang beda banget dulu dan sekarang. Dan gua pengen nangis.. pengen banget meluk si Rika.. *LOL* karena dia kedinginan sendirian di pinggir jalan nungguin si Kanji yg benar2 bimbang gitu bo.. Gua lebih paham perasaan mereka. Itulah knowledge. And it took 10 years more for me to get the meaning.. hehe.. how slow isn’t that..?
Kalau ekternalisasi pengetahuan *knowledge externalization* itu bisa dilakukan, disimpan, disebarkan, maka, no need for words. It is all inside our head and just need to transfer it. I wish I could. Meski, di sisi lain, dapat juga dilihat permasalahan dari adanya knowledge externalization ini yaitu kurangnya individualitas dari setiap orang. Karena, setiap orang dapat dengan mudah memilki knowledge akan sesuatu, yang artinya juga perasaan dan pemahaman akan sesuatu terdistribusi pula. Dan kemungkinan orang akan sulit mengenali siapa dirinya. haha.. quite funny actually. Contohny ada di film GITS jg, ada robot namanya Tachikoma yang setiap kali selesai tugas akan dilakukan sinkronisasi data, akhirnya mereka jadi bingung dengan siapa yg telah melakukan apa… LOL.. itulah yg mungkin terjadi, berkurangnya individualitas, yg artinya kita akan menjadi seperti robot, atau bahkan lebih buruk, mirip sel organ yg memiliki fungsi tertentu di tubuh. *karena fungsi kita pun bisa diprogram dengan knowledge yg dimiliki*
Sebuah drawback yang cukup berat dihadapi untuk distribusi knowledge.
Contoh knowledge yg bisa di share itu ada di film Macross Frontier. Yang memiliki share knowledge ini adalah serangga yg menjadi musuh utama di film itu. Malah knowledge ini terdistribusi dengan setiap individu adalah node yg menentukan path dari jaringan syaraf, seperti halnya di otak. Sehingga tidak ada individu yg menyimpan pengetahuan dalam waktu lama, hanya short term memory. Setiap individu pun berkomunikasi dengan “Space Folding” LOL.. sebuah konsep melipat ruang sehingga perjalan jadi super cepet.. haha… impossible..
Tapi, itulah yg emang gua alamin saat ini, atau lebih tepatnya saat itu. Saat kata2 tak pernah terucap secara langsung. Saat bahasa tubuhpun terhalang akan ruang dan pandangan. Saat gua cuma bisa diam dan menunggu karena maju pun cukup jelas apa respon yang gua dapat. Saat menjauh dilakukan padahal tidak ada yang mendekat. Saat itu, gua pengen sampein knowledge gua ke seseorang. Saat itu, saat ini pun masih, gua pengen sampein betapa gua peduli sama dia, betapa gua gak pengen dia sedih, betapa gua gak pengen dia menjauh, betapa gua berharap dia bahagia. Dan juga, betapa gua pengen bantu dia tanpa mengharapkan balasan dari dia.
